"We have a GE fridge that was new when we moved into our house a year ago this month. A few months ago, there was a leak in the back part with a horrible odor. A technician was sent out to “fix” the issue. Last week the odor and leak returned and when I contacted GE today asking about a repair, I was told since my appliance is now out of warranty I’d have to pay to have it fixed even though the issue was obviously never fixed several months ago when I was still under warranty."
