"Their clothes are well made and very stylish"

"This used to be my go-to store. Unfortunately, the co-orporation decided to incorporate the Soma line (underwear) ... and this Chico's is already small square space wise. I walked in when there were setting Soma up and complained about how much floor space it would take. The lady setting up argued back saying it would not. Well, it took me literally less than five minutes to walk through the store last time. I officially switched to Boden for when I need nicer clothing,"

"This store had a white women who acted snooty. I will never go back to this store or buy online again. I saw this on the news how some people act....and today I experienced it. What a shame. Furthermore, customer service told me I can return items to the store. I drove from Inman, S.C...over 20 miles to return items. What is the deal here? They must be privately owned store. I was bamboozled. Look at the other two reviews...they have also complained about this store being rude and pompous. I have shopped all over the world. Harrods of London treats its customers with respect."

"I don’t think I have been totally ignored in a store as I have been every time I went in. I have been in several times and I don’t think I’ve ever made a purchase. When I lived in Rock Hill I went to Hicks weekly! Loved it! Shopped no where else. Spartanburg is sure a BIG disappointment. I’ll only shop Chico’s again if I see one in another town."

"My husband needed to visit the credit union next door, and though I buy a lot of Chico's clothing online, I had never been into the store. I had hesitations about going on this day, as I was dressed for running errands. I also like the similar clothing line of a nearby store, but upon entering that store though dressed in that brand and coming from a professional job, I was given a once over and cold and curt "Hi". When visiting Chico's, I was immediately greeted with two friendly welcomes. I was also soon personally greeted and subsequently chatted with an employee about a current sale, the sizing configuration, etc. I was impressed with the arrangement and displays of the merchandise, the availability of a range of sizes, and the overall atmosphere. Though I was not dressed as a typical or really even a potential customer, I greatly appeciate the genuine hospitality to the ladies working on 6/23. I will be returning regularly to this shop!"
