"This morning, while on vacation, I was experiencing great pain in my lower back. Having no relief after taking 2 ibuprofen and icing my back, I decided to visit an urgent care facility. Fortunately, my husband found the MEDcare Urgent Care facility on 17N in Mt Pleasant. As soon as I arrived Robin called me to the front desk. She was very welcoming and friendly in getting me registered. Within 5 minutes Craig, the lab technician, called me over to his area to ask me several questions seeking information necessary in order for me to see the doctor or PA. Craig was also extremely friendly and helpful and in getting me situated in the examination room. Within 10 minutes I was then seen by Olivia, the PA. Olivia was very thorough in questioning me about my pain and examining me to determine the source of the pain. She was also very friendly and reassuring in answering all my husband’s questions. After determining what my issue was she prescribed the necessary medications and told me to call and/or return if I had any further problems. I can’t say enough about the friendly, professional, efficient care I received here by this staff and would highly recommend it to anyone who is in need of urgent care."

"My experience was great. From the moment i walked in the door I was treated so special. I had contact with 5 different employees during my visit and every one of them were present, kind and helpful. I have used this location in the past and had similar experiences. It’s not even the closest urgent medical place to my home but I will drive out of the way to use this place because of their knowledge, willingness to answer my questions and kindness. "I visited Medcare on a Saturday. Even though they seemed busy, I was seen fairly quickly. The admissions were simple, the nurse polite and competent. I was taken to an exam room and was greeted again by a gentleman who repeated a few tests and then the Dr. Anderson entered and listened to my issues. He was very personal and professional. I was given x-rays by a very polite and knowledgeable person(name?). Dr. Anderson was genuinely concerned and thorough. I feel he understood my problem(s) and responded in an appropriate way. The facility was clean and inviting. I was pleased with my treatment and would recommend them to anyone in need of urgent care."
