"I have been to a couple of specialists since moving to Charleston two years ago and have had quite a few labs done and all come back "normal." I am seemingly healthy but can't figure out one puzzle in my health. I found PA Sara Thomas after an extensive search for a primary care office accepting patients and I believe I was finally listened to for the first time. We already have a plan to solve this puzzle. It makes me hopeful.The office was friendly and clean and calm and easy to find. Pleasant experience; highly recommend this place."

"Typically love Dr. Teachman, but he refused to refill a prescription (that he initially prescribed) with blood work provided by the hospital. Basically wanted me to pay for a duplicate lab. (He also wanted me to come into the office in person during this pandemic, with being two weeks from delivering my baby.) There was no reasoning with the staff member that I spoke to on the phone. Wildly unhelpful, and rude support staff."

"I got charged almost $500 (with insurance) for 2 office visits and blood work. This is completely outrageous, and I didn't even see the MD, nor get any treatment plan other than getting told to go on Vitamin D. I understand that they charge based on code (and what is discussed in the visit), but these amounts that I am getting charged are completely unreasonable, especially for just seeing a nurse practitioner. Unfortunately, they have lost me as a patient due to a primary care being THIS expensive. I have never been charged this much for something like this in my entire life."

"i would never attempt to obtain this office as a primary care office. I made a mistake and threw away a prescription or my son did, I called the office, and explained the situation. Well that’s where it began. I was treated as a criminal, a child without regard and an irresponsible person. I moved her 2 months ago and I am still getting settled. Anyways bottom line while trying to explain the situation to 5 different people, finally I got the doctor, and was a I surprised by his bad attitude his use of forceful language and the fact he hung up on me. The medication I am on has side effects after stop cold turkey after 7 years. Did he care, nope he recommended me to a psychiatrist, lol. Because I lost a prescription. Don’t waste your time here, it’s not a very good offfice with staff, that have an attitude toward patients like this. I am sure they know how hard it is to get a new patient appointment. DO NOT GO HERE. I will be filing a malpractice lawsuit in the coming weeks. Dr. Teachman is the type of doctor that does not need to practice medicine, he is a hinderance to the community with a disgusting approach to patients. I offered to do whatever it took to fix this, and again treated as a common criminal. Is this the doctor you want? Seeing your child or you? I think not!"

"Just moved to Charleston from Austin for an emergency job offer and couldn’t fly home to see my regular doctor who is also amazing and has set a very high bar for any doctor to jump. That said, I called the office yesterday and I was blown away by the friendly approach and the professionalism of the receptionist..waayy above and beyond!! She gave me options for the following morning to see Dr Laura Hill given my “very far from my regular doctor” situation. The nurse that saw me first was super cool in the confident “ICU/ER real nurse” kind of way lol. Then I met my new doctor, Dr. Laura Hill! Right away she was remarkable and clearly a very sharp, intuitive, and efficient doctor who was able to handle my situation like she was part of my family and I honestly mean that when I say “remarkable!” I don’t usually have time to write a review about ‘great’ or ‘terrible’ things in this world. However, in the rarest of circumstances where I feel obligated to give gratitude and respect, this entire office is deserving of such a review. I found my new family doctor here in my new hometown of Charleston! I know that I am home and I am confident that my health is in remarkable hands!! Hats off Dr Hill and staff for 6/5 stars perfect! thankful! All the best!"
