"This used to be a wonderful practice , but when Doctor Gilbreth retired and Dr Vizzerman left to pursue other opportunities. This practice is horrible. The doctor that took Gilbreth place Dr .Alagna. Lacks the care and compassion , took him a week to sign on a refill for me . The other Doctor Kathy Bolus Was a true B to say the least you couldn’t get a word in edgewise. I don’t think she listened to one thing I said. Very sad to see this once booming practice go to one star , but it’s all in who the doctors are and staff are. I have been here for about 20 years through 3 doctors 2 retiring and one moving on to his own ward at Musc. So my review should tell you a lot about how it’s changed. On to bigger and better Doctors for me."

"HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!! The doctor was wonderful, but the facility seriously OVER CHARGES because you are BILLED TWICE because it is considered a "hospital" and they charge you a $214 facility fee in addition to the $362 doctor fee for my first appointment. STAY AWAY FROM MUSC, MOST LOCATIONS HAVE THIS FEE STRUCTURE. I was told that the West Ashley location in Citadel Mall, East Cooper in Mt Pleasant and North Charleston off of University Blvd are the only locations that do not charge this fee."

"Dr. Jon M. Mcgough is great! overbooked but great. The problem is the customer service and the front desk staff at this facility. i dont go to the doctor but maybe 1-2 times a year for i am fortunate to be so healthy. With that being said i deal with this office every 3 months for my depo. When i was in need of a pap the front desk said they would schedule me but he was out of the office. when i called to reschedule a different front desk lady told me he doesnt do those appointments and acted as if i was crazy for scheduling the appoinment (i went to a different facility and found it on my own) thinking that was water under the bridge i planned to keep going here for my depo. i called in my depo thursday and this office never got back to walgreens or me, thats okay, so i called friday, talked to the front desk, and the women said she would put that through. never heard from the office or walgreens so i waited through the weekend to call today. different front desk girl and probably the only one who knows her job there, and told me to fill that id need to make a "check up" appointment.. never needed one of these before and ive been going there for 2 almost 3 years for my depo shot (every 3 months) She transferred me to a nurse practitioner that then told me its on the client to schedule such appointments and to know, when i explained my situation she did nothing but argue. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. They didn't seem to want to avoid arguing with me to book an appointment or fix the situation. RIDICULOUS."
