"Extremely frustrated, my daughter enjoyed going here and loved Ms Martina. However around Christmas she broke her arm I called, emailed and left messages to please pause our account and not charge for the month while she healed - nope they still charged and never responded to my emails or calls. I then tried to cancel our membership leaving messages, emails and even a handwritten note at the front desk. Still no response and still getting charged. It’s not that they aren’t receiving my calls or emails as I know they were quick to respond when I was signing my daughter up for classes or had questions about her first class. There’s no way to cancel or stop your membership from the portal. It’s unfortunate bad business. I should have looked more closely at the reviews because it’s clear this is part of their business practices as there’s countless reviews stating the same thing. I wouldn’t recommend. Again mr martina is great the owners just aren’t doing a justice."

"Magnolia's staff is amazing. They take the time to work with the kids to build up their confidence and abilities and it honestly feels like a big family. We've met so many great people here. The part I find the most telling about Magnolia is how the senior dancers interact with the younger students. The owner empowers the senior dancers by encouraging them to mentor the younger dancers be it through instructing classes or helping the younger students with makeup and costume changes during performances. Stuff like that matters when you choose a sport or activity for your children to partake in because that mentorship has a trickle down effect that the younger ones see and will eventually emulate someday. Can't recommend this studio enough."

"Don't expect to get your money back; they are very fast when it comes to charge your credit card for recital, registration fees and you need to give 30 days notice to drop out even if your kid is not enjoying it. No one replies your emails or return your calls when there's any issues. Edit to Response from owner: You're wrong! She was not enjoying it. There was a bully in her class and on multiple occasions we picked her up crying. The instructor knew and was sympathetic, but couldn't control the bully even though she tried. Our daughter is starting a new class dancing at a different studio because in her words "its not the same place right?" she was ready to give up dance if your studio had been the only option. Our in person visits were pleasant enough, no attitudes from either side of the counter except for your clear reluctance to issue any kind of refund. We explained the situation on the first visit and you said you would issue the refund, but no refund came. A second visit and again no refund followed. Then on a third visit, and her final class, you offered the summer program instead, suggesting maybe with a different class she would enjoy it. We were willing to try, but our daughter said later that she would rather not go. If you are willing to issue a refund now, we will still accept it. We NEVER heard back from you about any kind of refund, Venmo or otherwise. And it was not 1 week that we sought the refund, it was more like a month of reaching out with no response. We do not want to hurt a small business, we want to help people know what to expect if they decide to withdrawal their child from your program."

"I love this dance studio!!! My daughter started there about 3/4 years ago and with the help of the teachers and her dancing peers she has continue to flourished and gain confidence to blossom into the wonderful dancer that she is today! great staff, wonderful owner, wonderful teachers and my daughter loves loves loves the teachers and staff as well!!! If you want your child to grow to be a great, fantastic dancer, then this is where you'd want them to be!!!"

"My 4yo daughter just finished her first year with Magnolia Dance Academy and we were thrilled with the school and will be returning in a week for the next session. The staff are all very friendly and kind, I feel like they truly care about my child and her dance experience. The end of the year recital was a beautiful production and we can't wait for her next show! I grew up in some of the top rated dance studios in MA and I couldn't be happier to have my child have the same experience here in SC."
