"Nice to have a quality and competent flight training center for beginners in the less busy area of the midlands. I visited the facility and met Roger Kohls, their flight instructor. I scheduled a discovery flight for my grandson. Roger had the skill and personality to appeal to a 14 year old and hopefully sparked an aviation career. They don’t have but one plane for training, but the main facility in Rock Hill seems to support the Pelion operation as needed. Hopefully it will grow. As a private pilot since the 1980s, I expect to use them for flight review and future certification. From what I have experienced I can recommend them. The Pelion airport is in excellent condition and the home of experienced flyers and owners that make you feel at home. Again, a great place to learn on a one to one basis."
