"Transportation does not communicate. Always excuses for missed pickups and for lack of communication. We're supposed to be 10+ minutes early to the bus stop. We are. But then they change the schedule and come even earlier and somehow that's our fault. No progress despite several conversations with management. The schools themselves seem fine. My daughters enjoy it and are learning. But the transportation really hurts the experience."

"I have genuine concern for the rest of the state if Anderson county district 1 is the best in the state. iPads and chrome books do NOT make a good school system. We have just recently moved up here from a small town in Georgia and I have had people tell me that the system here is so much better. In Georgia there are more options at the middle school level to get high school credits (taught at the middle school), kids can start the career academy their freshman year, the teachers understand that a child can be smart AND have learning disabilities. I'm not just disappointed I'm disgusted. I am only giving one start because of Mrs. Cahill at the high school and Mrs. Padgett at the middle school."

"This is our second year in Anderson District One. We are in the Powdersville Schools and couldn't be happier. To this point, administration has been wonderful from top to bottom. Our children are being academically challenged. We feel they are secure in a great environment. Plenty of productive activities to keep them busy while developing into better people. Thank you ADO!"

"girls are not allowed to play football unless they wont to be a kicker. i enjoy playing football and im not allowed to b\c they said i can only be a kicker which is wrong we should be treated like the guys as well and i dont wont to play poderpuff football i like hands on tackle with the guys. get back to me if you feel the same way"
