"Clean, quiet , convenient office with a lot of options for appt. times with a nurse practicioner or a Dr. Be very careful if you are concerned about cost. They bill as "HOSPITAL SERVICES" though you think you are going to a freestanding office. This increases cost so much that you can't even believe it's legal. Having labs drawn there are equivalent to having them drawn in a hospital setting. A $6 blood count can cost you $121 (and I'm not exaggerating). Do yourself a favor and find a free-standing lab and have your blood drawn there. My recent sick visit to see the dr. for severe back and side pain was submitted to my insurance and the claim is pending at over $2100.00. Mind you, I had NO xrays, no prescriptions, no referrals, and no relief. The doctor never examined my side or my abdomen and poked my back through my shirt in one spot . He did make note of my elevated blood pressure and without hesitation attempted to put me on BP pills. THAT'S NOT WHAT I SCHEDULED A SICK VISIT FOR. I was in pain. A lot of it for over 2 weeks. Of course my BP was up. Incidentally my TSH showed LOW/ abnormal in "my chart". When I questioned the doctor about it, he stated it was counterproductive to adjust my medication at this time so we would just repeat the test later. There was one small thing wrong with that response. . I was NOT on any medication , EVER, so nothing could be adjusted. I've now contacted the office 3 times in regards to "what do we do now" with no response. Great staff. You're in and out very quickly. Its convenient for labs if you want to pay the money and the printed discharge summary is nice with all your vitals on it is great. But this isn't the type Healthcare that I'm looking for. I want an attentive Dr. A Dr. who reads between the lines and uses his knowledge to care for me. One that isn't following a script of care and who listens to my concerns and addresses every one of them . Considering the amount of money I'm paying out of my pocket, that's the minimum standard I expect. I am diligently looking for a different facility"
