"Dr. Santos and her entire team at Best Friends Animal Care saved my dogs life and my sanity. I had taken my girl to the emergency vet on Christmas night and had to get her to my vet the next day. Lucky for me, a neighbor informed me that Dr. Santos had opened her own place. I was so happy to see her again and felt immediately at ease knowing that my girl Lucy was in the best hands in town. After being diagnosed with pancreatitis and Lucy not eating, a plan was put in place to find the best options for her. The team worked with me to figure out the best way to go and ultimately, she was given a feeding tube. I had to learn how to feed her differently and make sure she took her meds. I saw an immediate change in her and within a week she was eating on her own again. In 2 weeks, the tube was gone, and she is now getting back to her old self. Dr. Santos explained what she should and should not eat and I am happy to say she is better than she has been in months. Healthy and Happy because I took her to a place where EVERYONE there sincerely cares for animals. Care is not just part of their name. It is what they truly do!!
