"I've being seeing Dr. Soora for several years now, but that's changing after my last visit. I cannot in good conscience go to a doctor who dismissed my concerns, especially in front of my spouse who was there for support. I've been having suspicions about having PCOS and have shown almost all but ONE symptom, that one symptom was enough for her to completely disregard my concerns, and not even try to do any testing besides an ultrasound to see if my IUD is still properly placed even tho I told her nothing has changed since getting it, these issues were there before I did. Not to mention no one informed me that she had a MED student shadowing her (which I'm normally fine with...if it's communicated) who came in and basically told me "tell me what's going on" and then told Dr. Soora before she came in to see me, I have a huge fear that my pain was downplayed by the MED student even after saying "I have a hard time when it comes to my health because I always got told it's nothing when bringing health concerns up when I was growing up, I don't want to be someone who self diagnoses themselves because I'm not a doctor. But something isn't right." It's just a lot. My primary care with MUSC is amazing, he's wonderful, but after this visit I never want to go back to Dr. Soora. I'm not having my concerns brushed off. Because if it's happening now, imagine what would happen when I do finally have a baby one day! Nope. Not freaking risking it."
