"I was serviced by Taylor at this location. This was by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve had getting my hair done. Keep reading if you’d like to know why. I booked for a large knotless braid appointment with my braiding hair preference included. I shrugged it off that she was 20-30 mins late bc she texted me to let me know. She seemed to not really care that she was when she did arrive, cool. I love how stylist have late policies but don’t uphold them! After I was shampooed and blow dried, she completely leaves and says she’ll be back. I’m thinking she had to run to her car to get something, idk cool. Thirty minutes goes by and she walks back in with my braiding hair and reeked of smoke. I took note but was disappointed that she didn’t have my hair before the appointment (since I didn’t book last minute). Once again she comes back in and isn’t phased. So I sit in silence while she preps the braiding hair. Fast forward my hair is done and I express to her that putting moouse on my braids will cause my hair under the braid to frizz, she didn’t regard that all and continues to slather mousse over my head and not sit me under the dryer. The next morning I experience exactly what I told her my hair would do so I send photos and explain and hope we can come to a good resolution for both us. Not only does she insult my intelligence as if I’ve never had braids before and don’t know how to maintain them but she also stands me up when she said she would redo the few that were frizzy. Standing me up with a ‘I can’t make it’ and no text since. I’m prepared for this location to respond to this review however don’t care because people should know about this type of unprofessionalism. Side note: Barbers at this location are dope and passionate about their craft! Just what I observed from sitting there for hours."

"It's half barbershop and half salon! It's literally a one stop shop for my family. The staff is very professional and down to earth people. Prices are very reasonable and I'm a single mother of 3 saying this! "Tight Works" is the proper name for this spot! I am satisfied with me and my children hair every time we come. I highly recommend this place."
