"Purchased shoes for my daughters for school - within less than 1.5 months of school, the velcro closure of one of the pairs failed, leaving the shoes unable to be worn. Upon emailing customer service, they requested pictures of all angles of the shoes which I provided. The replied that due to the wear on the shoes, they would not refund or exchange the shoes. Ofcourse the shoes had cosmetic wear, my daughter wore them every day for school. Cosmetic wear has 0 bearing on the fact that the velcro of the strap failed and the shoes are unable to be worn. I'm glad to know this company doesn't stand behind their products, and I won't be purchasing from them again. If you need a pair of shoes to wear a few times and then throw away, shop from Shoe Carnival."

"Good affordable place to get name brand shoes. I would caution you to double check and try on both pair, even though they are brand names, I've found many times they have been different sizes. Last week looking at Nike size 7 ladies, both said 7 but one was clearly larger and wider. I found this several times across brands, but they have staff there to assist. Overall not a bad place"

"I went to buy my 6 year old Nike shoes. They had all high tops and they were kinda ugly. They wanted $85. I went to Kohl's and got some really good looking Nike shoes for around 50."

"Still good shoes. Never been the cheapest place but worth the price. Reason why I’m only giving it three stars is that the friendliness of the staff has seemed to have gone down for the first time I’ve gone in here. For the longest time they were far friendlier than other shoe stores which was a big part of why I always came here when I needed new footwear. This time they seemed as if they just wanted me in and out and didn’t want to talk much, about the same as other stores are. They were not even busy. I guess affirmative action comes before quality service these days. I might give this place a second go after my current boots need replacing. Then if it’s still the same, I’ll begin my search for another shoe store. Also I’m about tired of getting emails from this place anyway."
