Zumiez

"Here’s an adult’s review of Zumiez. I shop Zumiez for myself, not my kids or grandkids. The employees make me feel like I should feel privileged that they actually helped by pulling out skateboard parts (yes, I still skate), helping me find something or checking out. If I can get them to stop flirting with each other, playing, skating or talking to their friends. Every time they pull out one item (wheels, trucks, bearings, hardware) they put away the last one they pulled out so I can’t somehow reach over the display and snatch it from them. Meanwhile other customers could be robbing them blind because they’re all too busy doing nothing to pay attention. The stock on display in the store is a fraction of what it shows in stock online. Some of this is because the store is so small and has so little display space, so they have to shove boxes of shoes behind the wall or keep accessories in boxes in the back. But I suspect much is because of rampant theft and not updating inventory. Online showed over 40 different styles of sunglasses but the store had less than 30 pairs on display, representing 15 or 20 styles. Online showed twice as many styles of belts as they had out with “none in back”. I got an email saying all accessories were 50% off through Saturday so I went to the store to pick out a few things, only to have them try and charge me full price. Even though there were signs in the store advertising 50% off accessories and EVERY item I picked showed 50% off online. After I left the store without buying anything, my email blew up with email after email from Zumiez. I suspect that was the immature manager’s way of getting back at me for not buying anything after he took time out of his busy schedule to actually wait on me. Don’t waste your time or your money trying to shop at Zumiez in Haywood Mall."

"Zumiez is soooo cool!! It’s a store where I can be myself and find great stuff. Zumiez is also great if your a skateboarder like me. You can find tons of dope skate stuff there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. So if you decide to stop by zumiez I think your gonna be amazing."

"Zumiez is dope. Always find something that's sure to stand out. Staff is great also. Itd be a lot cooler if it were a standalone store instead of being located in the mall though. 5 stars. Great place for new age designers and apparel, even cooler that they sell skateboard decks etc."
