"I tried out this salon a few weeks ago. Melissa was super nice. However, the haircut I received was horrible. It did not even remotely resemble the photo I showed her. The cut was uneven and significantly shorter than I had requested. Not a good experience at all."

"I found Teresa at Charleston Hair Studio Shortly after moving to the area in 2018, and what great luck it was!!! I have very fine hair and finding someone who understands how to cut and color it to give it volume has been a challenge in the past. Teresa is so knowledgeable and from the first visit I knew I had found “my stylist”. The salon is also super cute and it’s a friendly, enjoyable environment! My favorite time of year is around the Christmas season, Teresa always decorates the salon so cute and different every year. Just proves she is an artist and has that “eye” for design. Highly recommend not only Teresa but all of the ladies at the shop!"

"I've debated on posting my review of this place for a while. The ladies there were all very sweet, but the cut itself was very poorly done. The haircut, after waiting for a while, took almost 2 hours to do, and was not what I had asked for. I asked for collarbone length hair with LONG layers. I showed her on my hair what I meant by that (and had to remind her throughout the cut because it seemed like she was cutting off way more then I asked. As you can see, the layers are inconsistent, WAY shorter than I asked for, and just plain choppy. In all honesty it looks as if a toddler took scissors to my hair. Not done well for the price they charge."

"I had such a wonderful experience at Charleston Hair Studio with Melissa. I have left several hair appointments feeling underwhelmed and unheard, so I was looking for the right person to help me. I have incredibly long and thick straight hair. Melissa asked me to come in for a consultation (first time a stylist has ever taken that initiative) and took the time assess my needs. She booked an entire Saturday to make sure my appointment wouldn’t be rushed. I got a hair cut (10 inches off) and a full head of highlights. She recommended and applied the perfect colors and treatments. She paid attention to every last detail and made me feel so comfortable throughout the lengthy appointment. She never complained or cut corners, even after 7 hours in her chair. Melissa is caring, warm, and passionate about her work. I can’t wait to be back in her chair!"
