Gates Salon

"I moved from HHI in January and needed to find a salon that was closer to my new home. I did quite a bit of research and chose Gates Salon based on the good reviews and the price point. With the Covid-19 shutdown, by the time I was able to go in for an appointment it had been about 5 or 6 months since my last salon appointment, so Marianne had her hands full doing full highlights, a haircut, and re-coloring the ruby peek-a-boo color I have on the underside of my hair. The first time with a new hair stylist is usually stressful, but Marianne took the time to ask questions about my previous salon experiences (what they did that I didn't like, etc.), what I was looking for, etc. and made me feel at ease, and I was very pleased with the results. In addition, I went home with a gift bag full of samples & goodies and some recommendations on products. Because my hair was so grown out and dark, we decided on some additional blonder highlights, which I came back for a week later and Marianne wouldn't let me pay for. I've found my new salon and won't hesitate to recommend Gates Salon. Thanks Marianne for the new 'do - I love it! It's amazing what getting your hair done can do for your mood, and especially right now it feels good to look like myself again!"
