"We went late September during the off season. It's a pretty beach with not many people. You can look out and see another island across the water. People brought kites to fly since there were so few people. We picked up shells and enjoyed the views. The sand was soft. Note: there are no restrooms or places to shower to get the sand off. Also we had sand flies and they do bite so may have to bring bug spray. Parking is more in a residential area."
