TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District

"This is no 4 stars or 3.5 stars hotel. Cons : -The air conditioning system does not heat, thankfully, we were there during the warm days, we did not need that much. We called the front office within the hour after we checked in regarding that and they said they will send someone to check. Noone ever came and heating still never work. -The hot water runs short in the morning. It did not last even for 1 shower. -The cart we used to move our luggages were broken. -No pool or hot tub. -It is overpriced for what it got. Pros : -Beds were comfy. -TV has good channels (but we did not watch much) -Room is clean and updated. -Location is great. -No breakfast, no microwave in room -Only parking option with the hotel is $30/night of valet parking. We used the public garage parking which is less than half that price. If it matters to you, the hotel is no cash hotel. Only credit or debit cards for payment."

"Hotel is in a great location right next to a garage to park. Easy in, easy out! Staff is super friendly!!! Renovated rooms look great! Thank you for a great stay! Staff was super accommodating and knew the area! Super plus!"

"Hotel was clean. Parking deck located across street from hotel. Room was clean. Hot water for shower was hit and miss. Took a cold shower twice. Not acceptable. Tv limited channels. For the price you would expect a hot shower and able to watch some channels other than a few. Location was ok."

"Convenient location 1/2 mile from Riverside area; but no dining in the hotel as opposed to their website; no microwave oven in room, the view was to the wall of another building, $30/night valet parking and you must be patient when picking up your vehicle, not many options for dining walking distance. Attendant was very nice and courteous, and room was clean, pillows included a feather one on each of the Q beds, so it was ok for my 2 night stay on a last minute booking…"

"Came in town to get my child from college and decided to stay here for the night. Lobby was nice when you walked in. Rooms were clean, but there was a big bleach stain at the door of the room. Drain was also clogged when we showered, but room was decent otherwise. It is about 1/2 mile (18 minute) walk to any of the restaurants and shops. They offer valet parking for $30, or you can do street parking. There is a parking garage right across the street that has a door to the street where the hotel is and we paid $10 for the night (price list does say $17 daily, though). My only complaint is that when I walked in to check in, the front desk was having an issue with 2 other guests being booked for the same room. And from there I could see the customer service was not the greatest. And I had to wait for them to figure all of that out instead of someone else checking me in. If I hadn’t paid already, I may have walked out. Then when I asked for a later check out in the morning I was told it wasn’t available for me. 50/50 chance I would stay again, but I wouldn’t pay what I did for another night."
