They spotted a problem and had it treated before I had any symptoms, thus preventing any pain or complications. And they're right here on the Island! Aren't we lucky?!"

"4 visits to my last Dentist ended with a few painful nights and an unwanted but necessary root canal- even after he told me there was nothing wrong. I ended up visiting an out-of-town and out of network family dentist for a second opinion (5th office visit) and he told me I would need a root canal. He performed the first half of the root canal and then recommended I find someone closer to home to finish the crown procedure. On a chance I decided to try the local Dentist office here on Edisto Island after hearing the practice had a new Dentist. Enter Edisto Family Dental. Edisto Family Dental is a welcomed addition to our small slice of paradise. Dr. Mattison and Audrey are professional and courteous, and are always going the extra mile. After explaining my horrific situation they understood how I was skeptical of any further dental work. Although it took almost 3 hours they exercised great care and were always making sure their was no discomfort or pain. I have been pain free ever since and look forward to receiving my crown in the upcoming weeks. They even call to remind you of your appointments. I HIGHLY recommend them to locals and visitors alike.
