"Poor poor customer service, the water heater pump went out, Andy was contacted Nov 2019 all we got was excuses excuses, May 2020 still heater is not working, the pool vinyl fell off the sides. We contacted both Andy and Bobby and nothing, finally we called from a different number and Andy answers the call. He acted like he didn’t know us, until the end, all we got was excuses and a run around. We are contacting BBB and an attorney since the Pool is technically still under warranty. PLEASE DO NOT THIS COMPANY! They are fraud and will rip you off.."

"Sat down with Bobby to discuss plans on a custom pool. He told me that he would start on a Wednesday in early December to be finished by Christmas since I told him there would be no access to the yard on Tuesday. A contract was drawn up (I wish I would have known now what I didn’t know then) and signed. They showed up on Tuesday and began to dig up the yard. After promising to cap off the existing sprinklers they just dug it up and had no idea where they broke the lines. Like the others, promised dirt would be removed, it was not. Piled up in the yard. The “dig” went dormant for a week, then the workers decided to come to work when we were not aware of their arrival. Construction begins, the mess in the yard begins to pile up, trash and more trash. Now she. I say trash I mean Burger King and McDonalald’s trash. I have a dog that wants to get into that trash. Then again, dormant for 2 weeks. So Bobby wants a check for the work “his” workers have done. Not knowing what has actually been done, because he has not taken one minute to oversee or make any contact to his customer about the build. He never answers the phone or texts. It is winter, but we are in Savannah GA by the way, and now it’s Christmas and no pool as promised. New Year comes and goes, no work getting done. In the middle of January construction takes place. Pool is plumbed, concrete is shot, deck is prepared. By the end of February deck is in waiting for the equipment, this should have been ordered a very long time ago and delivered to my house waiting to be installed. No we can’t think proactively. After the pool is complete with water in the pool, still waiting on equipment to be ordered. Finding out there is some damaged equipment, I attempted to contact Bobby, finally after repeated attempts he answered his phone. I took all the information from the heater Vender and called and arranged delivery to my house myself. Should I be doing his job? Finally after all has been delivered Andy came over and installed all the equipment, the next week the electrician came over and hooked everything up. The next week Andy came back over and we started everything up. Now I will say that Andy was the most helpful in all of my stupid question I bombarded him with. After this part of the process was complete I actually got a phone call from Bobby, wanting.....anyone, anyone, yes his money. Not only wanting final payment he claimed that we owed him a substantial amount more than was on the contract. He indicated that he never received one of the semi-large payments so I owe him that money. The funny thing is, when you write a check and somebody cashes it, banks keep records of that. I told him that I had given a check to the build supervisor as he had requested to get his crew paid for the work that day. I also kept record to the scope of the contract. His lack of good record keeping, lack of customer communication makes this 5 month pool build a complete nightmare. It took less time to build our new house than to build this pool and I did all the permit legwork. The last I heard that he packed up and left town and moved up north, can you say “Shady” Honestly I do t even know if we have a warranty on work performed if anything goes wrong, if somebody could point me in the right direction who to notify, that would be helpful"

"Andy came out and said they would remove the trees and the pool would fit fine. Bobby told us the hole would be dug, dump trucks would remove the dirt and the pool would be put in the same day. The guy that came to dig the hole told us he couldn’t remove the tree. We told Bobby we would not accept delivery of the pool. We talked to Tallman (manufacture) to cancel the pool. They vouched for him and he volunteered to store the pool in another location. When they dug the hole NO dump trucks arrived. We had piles of dirt in the yard, against our house and the tree was rotting in the yard for weeks. The pool was placed in the ground, the dirt was backfilled and the pool filled with water. We called the county about our water bill to let them know we filled a pool. They told us they didn’t have a permit on file. When the crew finally showed up after not working for 6 days they removed the dirt. Well they did not remove ALL of the dirt but spread the rest over areas of the grass they had not already killed. Now we have to pay for new sod. His response “landscaping is not in the contract”. Well neither was you spreading dirt across our backyard! Tallman told him to call us and make it right, he didn’t! They laid the concrete decking and Bobby sent Andy to pick up a check even though the spray decking was incomplete. I called Tallman back to request assistance to get our pool equipment installed. I called Andy to see when he would put it in he asked if it had been delivered. When I said no, his response, “I only install it, let me know when it’s there.” The water sat stagnant in our pool for 3 weeks. When it was done, I asked again about the permit. He IGNORED me. He NEVER applied for the permit until I refused payment. NIGHTMARE experience. What was supposed to be a few weeks took 10 weeks from start to permit completion. He was not honest and avoided communication with us repeatedly. Bobby should take as much interest in his work as he does with collecting the checks. He is an absentee owner who does not care about his customers. The company works in Georgia and South Carolina.There is a second phone number on our contract that comes back to Blue Sky Pools in Greenville, SC."
