"I had an excellent experience selling some of my old punk rock record collection that I don't listen to anymore to Hudson Valley Vinyl. Chris was very easy to communicate with to schedule the visit. John came up to my house in the Hudson Valley, looked through all the vinyl I wanted to sell and gave me a very fair price. He even took the extras he wasn't so interested in off my hands to sell in their discount bin, for a little extra cash! Paid in cash, super polite and respectful and I think we both felt like it was a win-win! I really want to get down to Beacon to visit the store in-person... I can only imagine from the cool choices he made from my collection that the shop must be packed with awesome nuggets!"

"Small, curated selection of records in very nice condition. They don't serve beer, but the bar up the street that sells records had a better beer selection than LP offerings. Pick your middle-aged-dad-type poison, I suppose. I walked away with a great old Folkways album of Indonesian gamelan music, a Peter Gabriel promo, and a recording of Chippewa songs. The guy gave me a deal, too."

"What an incredible record store! Easily one of the best in the state and a store you will always leave with something. Jazz, Rock, Funk/Soul and other genres are well represented and even though it’s a small place, it is stocked with killer titles that you won’t easily find elsewhere."
