"So far I have had only good experiences. Delivery was right on time. Keep in mind I’m not as picky as some of the other reviewers when it comes to delivery day and time so maybe that is why delivery was perfect for me. The food came perfectly packed and cold, they put plenty of freezer packs in the box. The food is good quality and helps me out when I get so busy. The portions are good but I can see an overweight person being use to large portions sizes and then thinking the portion sizes given are small even though the meals are around 5. To 6 hundred calories. Overall, I am happy with my meals and they are good on my stomach. I have ibs and have had it my whole life. It has been a miserable journey and I am beyond thankful that there is a company that actually makes low fodmap meals that taste good. So please, if you don’t have ibs, don’t be so quick to judge, these meals may not be what you are use to and they really are tailored for ppl with ibs, I am speaking solely on behalf of the low fodmap meals which I love. My only complaint is that i wish the containers and freezer packs were more eco friendly. I feel bad wasting all this plastic but idk how to fix the issues. This isn’t only an epicures thing, thousands of companies and restaurants waste so much plastic. I just wish I could at least donate the freezer packs and bubble wrap or send it back for reuse. I know they are recyclable but only 9% of what goes in recycling bins actually gets recycled"

"I am going through a bit of an IBS flare-up. The customer service was excellent at getting my meals delivered as quickly as possible. I enjoy the food! People have mentioned bland in previous reviews... I don't agree. It has a lot of flavor. However, it is low fodmap, so obviously, ingredients have been omitted that you are probably used to consuming, such as onion and garlic. That can affect flavor, but you just have to adjust. I enjoy this so much. It helps me stay consistent with healing my gut! My package arrived on my doorstep, and I live upstairs. It also was well packaged with lots of ice packs. You can not blame a company for bad delivery drivers in your area. You may need to call your local post office and file a complaint. I had no issues. I will be ordering again! Thanks, guys."

"Epicured has been a LIFE SAVER for me to get quality delicious food while having celiac. I have tried so many meal delivery services and every single one has sent me into a reaction even though they claim that they are gluten free. The added bonus with Epicured is that the food is AMAZING! I live in CO and they ship me 2 -3 boxes every Tuesday from their facility in NY! I've never had a problem and have been using Epicured for about 6 months now."

"I agree with that last review. These lower star reviews are definitely not reflective of my experience. Please keep in mind this is a very special meal service that caters specifically to IBS, Chrons, etc. You can't compare them to anyone else, and they do a phenomenal job. This is an amazing company and service that has pretty much changed my life the past several weeks. I cannot emphasize this enough and am close to tears writing this which is why it's going to be lengthy :) I have never gone this long feeling 'normal' without intestinal pains and other unpleasant symptoms. It had gotten so bad I was afraid to leave my house. In addition, I've found their customer service is top notch. Not only did I get a personal call back, they literally changed the date of my delivery because I made a mistake and was going to be away for vacation - no small feat considering they are on a schedule for production. The representative was courteous and thoughtful and made sure every item in my order was accurate, down to the protein I selected and even called back to confirm I was all set. No, not everyone is going to like every single meal, you can't please everyone, but 99.9% of the meals I have had are so flavorful, creative, healthy, and substantial. I don't understand the reviewer complaining about the portion size. For one thing, those of us with chronic digestive and intestinal issues, gorging on a gigantic plate of food is probably not a great idea. And Epicured gives you PLENTY of breakfast, sides, and snacks to fill up. I've eaten their breakfasts for dinner sometimes and the peanut butter and chocolate energy bites are better than candy. Quick side note - healthy portion size for a meal is what can fit in your stomach naturally, which is the size when two of your hands make a bowl. In the US we are unfortunately accustomed to obscene portion sizes. The portions are more than adequate. Even my family member who works in a restaurant when seeing one of my meals commented, wow, that's a pretty nice portion that's bigger than what we give! Packaging is sustainable, delivery always on time, unpacking is so easy which is not like other meal services, and who can complain about average time for meal ready is 2-3 minutes? I cannot express how grateful I am and cannot give enough stars!!"

"The worst meal delivery service I have ever dealt with. They came so highly reviewed so I thought I would try them since I have Celiac Disease. I ordered 5 items and only 2 of them were edible. Nearly every single item I received was tastless. The only bright spot was the dragonfruit smoothie and the teriyaki meatballs. The pad thai was not only tasteless, it had an uncountable amount of these fibers in it that looked similar to corn silks but were very tough and hard to break. I CHOKED on these. The chicken in the tacos and popcorn chicken was similar texture and taste to cat food or canned chicken. When I contacted them about this, they only offered to send replacements and would not issue a refund of any sort. Before you drop $$$ on this service, try to place a small order to give them a try because there is no refunds of any sort from this company. Extremely disappointing."
