"Tuesday, October 17th, I came in for a 2020 Nissan Frontier. That truck was just traded in, so it wasn't ready (needing a detail, oil change, new tires and windshield wipers), instead I was shown a truck that was a 2019 Nissan Frontier. I was then sold the truck, after the salesperson told me the carfax was clean and the service department stated that the vehicle was mechanically sound. I was told the truck would be ready the next day, it was not. My mother came to the dealership for me the following three days, each day they said it was not ready, or they could not locate the vehicle. Friday, October 20th my vehicle was finally ready (also my first time seeing the vehicle). A week later, I took my car on the interstate and heard a whining sound, assuming it was my cabin air filter, I checked and it was filthy (photo attached) I ended up buying my own. Also, every time I made a turn, I could hear whooshing or water in the right side of my vehicle. It was very clear that they did everything they could, in those three days as fast as possible so it could pass the look test. Not too long after I brought my vehicle in, the sales manager took it for a test drive and stated he did not hear the noise (water) even though I could clearly hear it. He then told me to bring it in next week for the service department to look at it, in exchange for taking money out of the nexts months budget to replace the cabin air filter (which is only $30 max), to give them a 5 star review on google. November 14th, I took my vehicle to the store and it had a hard time cranking up, my gauges (gas and speedometer) started to shake as well. I made it to where I was going and after coming back out to my vehicle, it would not start again, but all the lights and my a/c was working, so it clearly was not the battery. Someone tried giving me a jump, to no avail. I had to call a tow truck on November 15th and bring it to the dealership. The following day after seeing the review, Mark the Sales Manager called me and says the corporate office has seen my review and they would reimburse me for my tow and would give me a loaner until my car is done being repaired, in return for me to take down the negative review. Once my vehicle was done getting worked on (November 17th I believe), my mother and I were called to exchange the loaner for my vehicle, Mark told us they replaced my battery(which makes no sense if my lights, radio and A/C were cutting on) and took care of the water noise I was hearing (which should’ve been done before I received the vehicle…). With us knowing they didn’t take care of the problem (the starter). He then told my mother that he would buy it back and overnight the check to the bank who gave me the loan, so we sold them back the vehicle, in return of taking down the negative review. It is now November 29th and the check still has not been received by the bank (I have called twice since November 18th) and we are getting the runaround by the dealership, with them stating they do not have the authority to write checks, we were not made aware of that by Mark the day he signed the paperwork, stating they were buying the vehicle back. Mark also stated he sent the check and he would email us the proof of payoff from the bank and has not yet. It has now been 12 days since I sold the vehicle back to the dealership and it has not been paid off yet.. Now I have no vehicle and cannot go out to get one without this loan taken off of my credit (which will take 30-45 days until it comes off of my credit report). This is the most unprofessional car dealership I’ve ever been to in my 24 years of life. With the running around and them basically bribing me so I can take my HONEST negative review down. Overall a poor experience. Things could have been taken care of way better and communication was very poor. The sales manager and also the service departments customer service was extremely poor. Update: It is December 2nd and they sold my vehicle, without them paying my loan off. I crossed to gentleman out to respect his privacy."
