Airport Park 500 Ammons Road, Spartanburg, SC 29306

"This is a great park with two huge paysets, a soccer field with nets (for big kids and little kids) a run way sidewalk and a water feature (closed in the winter). Meanwhile planes are taking off and landing the whole time so that is a joy too. A bit breezy with no trees around but there are two picnic shelters if you need some shade. Restrooms are closed in the winter months."

"I took my family to see the Healing Wall, a replica of the Vietnam Memorial in DC. Absolutely breathtaking..."

"A very nice park, very clean, maintained nicely. You can walk while your children play in one of the two playgrounds. The park also has a waterpark area to cool off. The airport is right next to the park, which is pretty cool. You are able to see the small planes. There is also a small area to work out, picnic tables with shade, and a soccer field. The parking lot is a good size. ****NOT a Shaded Park!! FULL SUN!!**** HIGHLY RECOMMEND to bring the kiddos."

"Would have been 5 stars if there had been better views of the airport. All said, this is a nice park. It's one of the nicest splash pads seen so far at local parks. There are nice play sets and tower to play and climb on."

"The park is very cool, as it's right next to the small airport in Spartanburg. You can see plans landing and taking off from the playground. There is a bathroom but it was locked as of March 4th. I hope that's not a common thing. One big kids playground and one little kids playground complete with swings, slides, and other fun things to do. There are fields for kids to play soccer in or fly kites as well."
