"If I could give 0 stars, I would. This entire “establishment” is a scam. I’m currently out of $1,300 because of this place and would’ve been out of more if I didn’t get a 2nd opinion. The first time I went here, I took my car to get an alternator replaced in which I bought my own brand new, WORKING, alternator. He put it in, no issue. Had to change the battery and belt as well. The total was $600. I picked up the car and the NEXT day it broke down WHILE DRIVING. I had my 2 kids and we almost wrecked. I took the car back just for him to tell me it was the alternator, it was apparently faulty even though I had it tested before I took it and it was fine. Another thing, why didn’t he check it before I left? So even though it broke down the day after, he still charged me for labor and I was forced to buy a brand new alternator from him. That costed me $700. I truly believe that this mechanic messed with my alternator or purposely knew it would break down so I would come back. The whole situation don’t make sense. A week or so later I brought my other car because I believed it needed new axels. The guy of course told me that there was multiple things wrong EXCEPT for the axels and wanted to charge me $2,000. So of course I need a 2nd opinion. The TWO other mechanics I saw both said that EVERYTHING the guy from this establishment said that was wrong was actually FINE. And the only thing wrong WAS the axels. So I was almost scammed out of more money. I would never recommend this place to ANYONE."

"Our business has been using My Mechanic for about a year. Very convienently located right off southport road . I had an oil leak and another garage told me that it was the oil pan and would have cost a fortune to fix. I brought it to Ray and he looked at it and said it was a hole in the oil filter ! Easy fix and no more than an oil change!!!! This is the best shop to go to the guys are all awesome , helpful , and the prices are beyond fair! I do not have to look any further for a good and honest mechanic, I love that he saved me from getting gouged !"

"We were recommended this shop by a family friend when our car’s transmission went out. We were traveling from out of town and desperately needed diagnostics ran in order to find out what repairs could be done. They were quickly understanding and got right on helping us when we got there. Unfortunately, our transmission was completely gone, but the guys here were incredibly helpful. Since we were traveling we needed a way to find a rental car and Alan took us in his personal vehicle to the local Enterprise to help us get a rental. They gave us a great recommendation for where to take our vehicle to have the new transmission installed. We were so glad that we ended up dealing with the guys at My Mechanic.
