"My son recently became interested in coin collecting, specifically trying to find a rare one. We came across Specialty Rarities on Google, and decided to see if any of the coins we found and researched were what we thought. We spoke with Francine and she was great. She was very knowledgeable and taught my son and a lot about the history of the mint. Unfortunately the penny wasn't worth what we thought, but my son went back to searching and we went back. This time we spoke with the owner Jeff. We thought we would only be 15 minutes, but he wound up spending almost an hour with my son and I showing us different coins and teaching us all about different mints and US History. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and trust worthy I would certainly recommend going to Specialty Rarities."

"When I lost a big part of my boyhood coin collection, I brought a list of the missing coins to this neighborhood shop. It was my first time there and the friendly couple who own the business took my list of over fifty coins to try and replace what they could. Within a half hour they replaced nearly all the U.S. coins on my list for a real modest cost! This is an interesting shop with fair prices. It is small but filled with varied antique collectibles. I recommend them for individual collectors looking to browse, buy or sell."
