"Had 2nd Covid shot @ Towne Center Walgreens, where I shop regularly. Heidi and Chris [pharmacists] are outstanding, knowledgeable, professional and patient....even during the long frustrating conversion period from Rite Aid to Walgreens. They and Amber [in the front of this store] are the reasons I continued to shop at this location, which is close to my house."

"Been using this pharmacy for several years. Pharmacists are wonderful, knowledgeable professionals and considerate support staff. Transition from Rite Aide to Walgreens hit a couple snags that they appear to have worked out quickly."

"During the transition period, everyone is experiencing a learning curve. The pharmacists and their assistants are working hard to make sure everyone receives the best assistance. May I suggest that all customers give them the time they need to fill prescriptions, and call first to make sure they are ready, or register on-line for access to Pharmacy services."

"My doctor called a script in Monday night, went to pick it up late Tuesday evening. Still wasn't filled at that time. Ended up waiting 45 minutes along with at least 3 others who also had scripts called in well before. It seems like they don't go anything until your there and as a result you are forced to wait. I will be using CVS or Kinney's from now on. Too bad as Rite aid was good. Please don't give me you are transitioning, if your not ready then don't do anything until you are"

"UPDATE: They are working through the transition issues. 9/28/19: at 10:45am: via my iPhone I went to rite aid on google & pressed the phone # and got through after waiting 10 minutes. Spoke with Christa who explained to me that the old Rite Aid prescription numbers will not be recognized by Walgreens. She said once they get our Walgreens refills we can call in and order on the phone like we used to do using the Walgreens prescription number. I gave her my prescription name, she looked it up & said there are no refills but they will fax the doctor. She has been working in the pharmacy for 14 years. I asked about Chris and Heidi — she said yes, they are still here. I asked about my Shingrix part 2 vaccine, if it will still be available, she said yes. I’ll be fine in October. She also explained that they have only three phones with which to answer all the calls that are coming in so the service right now is really bad. Plus they just got a new computer system installed this week & they are all working through the quirks. I told her that it really helps me to understand that. So we all should be patient. Need to refill a prescription. But they don’t answer the telephone. AT ALL! TRIED AT LEAST 5 times between 9:45-10:15am!! In addition... 2 days ago they left 2 conflicting messages about a prescription we never refilled. First said insurance doesn’t cover it. Then another message saying the prescription was ready?!?! We don’t have a problem with our insurance. So I called to tell them they must have made a mistake but...yesterday they finally answered but after switching me back & forth and putting me on hold (approximately 10 minutes) the apparent cashier answered while she was ringing up another customer. I was explaining my concern, and it didn’t seem as if she was listening. I asked if she heard what I said. She then told me she was multi-tasking. Not a good idea when listening to a customer expressing a concern about a prescription! Then, she hung up on me! We never had problems with Rite-Aid!"
