Mayer's Flower Cottage

"Most of My Flowers Died after 2 days, limited selection. specific was asked for and not delivered. Very Expensive. Staff was just plain Rude and unaccommodating. They were not busy when i went in it was midday and not another customer in the store acted as if i was bothering them , Not friendly. I have used this florist many times since 2010 but have not been in for a few years this was my first time able to go back and i will NEVER be back again. This is why Sams Club and gas stations are winning --Sad when you can get a beautiful bouquet from the local gas station that lasts the week over going to a place that is supposed to specialize in a product and receive better. The worst part is the rudeness and attitude of the man and woman that were in the shop"

"Thank you to Mayer’s Flower Cottage for the hard work you put into the custom piece we tasked you with in a short time for my fathers funeral. You blew our expectations out of the water and we loved the piece. Having to make phone calls and arrange things isn’t easy after losing a loved one but putting the order in with your shop was so simple and easy and I was able to cross it off the list. Your piece was used at the service and displayed for two more weeks at memorial nights at Riverhead Raceway and it stayed together and held up for us. I wanted to make sure that I got the most beautiful bouquet delivered for my best friend because she deserves it. Mayers Flower Cottage shop was referred to me by another flower shop I had called and boy they did not disappoint. Mayers did the most absolutely gorgeous job. The bouquet was absolutely stunning and my bestie was so excited to receive it. the colors were exactly what i had asked for and even just the way they packaged it shows that they care about their work. i highly recommend!"

"I have bought flowers direct from Local farms that don't last as long as what I got for my wife from Mayer's. I mean she gets to look at them for well over a week and I keep getting the brownie points. They are a little pricy but after bearing witness to the quality, welll worth it. I got lucky and walked in when it wasn't busy. The nice florist got started on my order but soon after they got busy. You may want to plan ahead if you need something more intricate."
