M&T Bank

"I just got back from this location after opening up mine and my girlfriends very first business together, an anxious endeavor. I had called earlier that day to ask about scheduling and realized this bank closes most weekdays at 4pm, so I got out of work early and got there at 3:45 thinking it would be a quick 15 minute set up for the accounts. The banker I worked with was Leanna Sorrentino. I have dealt with many, many banks over the years, and would be willing to put it in writing that she was by and far the very BEST I have ever come across in my life. I had to bring my daughter in with us, as we didn't have a sitter and she is very hyperactive. Leanna was not only polite, but offered her toys and spoke to her like she had a background in child development. On top of all that, Leanna stayed an extra HOUR after closing to not only set up the account, but answer all my questions with patience, humor, and professionalism. I will never bank with anyone else for the rest of my life because of that experience. We work hard in my house and to be treated with such respect and kindness after a long work day is refreshing and so very rare these days. Thank you, Leanna! The best around ~"

"I would highly recommend this bank/branch I moved to NY from Ireland this time last year and a lady named Davida helped me open an account and then again today she helped me with setting up a savings account and she just made it so easy she was really helpful and accommodating both times so thank you for your service and keep up the good work"

"I had 4 business accounts with this bank plus a joint and a personal account , The bank closed all my accounts for no absolute reason when I asked them why they said the bank have made that decision, very unprofessional! At least give people an explanation why that decision been made . Worst experience ever,DO NOT bank with them if your a business owner !!"

"I went there to have some 20 dollar bills changed to 100s. It's not a difficult thing to do and every bank used to do it as a common courtesy. Apparently that is not the world we live in anymore. They lie to me and tell me that they can't do it because they are afraid of people shorting them. I said to them "count it". They fed me a bunch of nonsense about how it's their policy not to do that for people who don't have an account with them. I assured them that because of this I will NEVER bank with them. It was not even a large sum of money. So much for customer service. STAY AWAY!!!"
