"We purchased bulk compost from GreenScapes. Pretty big chunks of wood ECT, and not organic, which is fine. What's not fine is that it's absolutely riddled with garbage, specifically mass amounts of plastic. After a rain shower all of our garden beds look like they've been covered in chewed up garbage. It's absolutely sickening and we're so sad that there's no way to get it out aside from completely pulling up all the compost we paid for and throwing it out. Which we feel bad about doing anyway, because wherever we dispose of it is going to also be covered in plastic. Our yard has little bits of plastic and trash floating all over it now too. It sucks when you're trying to keep these beautiful natural spaces clean, only to have inadvertently thrown garbage everywhere. ): It's truly upsetting."

"Everybody in central NY knows or has heard of GreensScapes. It really is the time of year to be thinking about putting in the "annuals" or maybe even a perennial, or two. Time to make the short trek over to GreensScapes and make my selections. As expected on a warm, sunny weekend day in mid-May, they were busy. My wife and I began browsing the seemingly endless variety of plants, having an idea of what we wanted but no clue where to find it. Within 2 or 3 minutes a Greenscapes employee cheerfully greeted us and offered to help. We had a ton of questions and this female employee clearly knew her stuff! She answered all our questions and gave us the guidance we needed to make the best selections for our property. Cheerful and helpful employees are an asset and create return customers. We made our selections and another employee quickly offered to cart and load our purchase for us. We are well into our spring plantings with help from GreensScapes and will certainly be shopping their diverse, quality inventory again."
