"On my 2019 tax return the IRS sent me a letter and requested an explanation if taxes were paid on stock options received. I had included all the documentation in my original submission to the accountant. So I sent a copy of the IRS letter and explanation to Halbreich beginning of May. I was promised that a response would be filed by the end of the week. 3 calls and 3 emails later I was promised that the documents would be sent by 5/28. I requested a copy of the letter in my e mail on 5/28. The due date the IRS has given me in their letter is 6/2. I had great experience with Frank, but if he is not around, the service really degrades badly. I get no calls and no e mail responses. Don’t know how a business can exist treating customers this way!! If I could give a “0” - I certainly would."

"Can I give zero stars, I'm incredibly annoyed. Followed what they told us what to do with filing taxes, had to pay. Make adjustments that the recommended, boom I had to pay again, this time triple of what I payed year before. The icing on the cake came today, a back tax payment due to New York State from the audit department. Avoid these clowns at all cost. Awful, awful, awful, they have costed me thousands of dollars. Never using them again, if you're a city worker like I am, they will screw you they do not know what they are doing. Howie did, but he doesnt take new clients."
