"I don’t normally write reviews but the experience I just had with Anthony the properly listing employee was unprofessional and frankly, insulting. I am looking for an apartment for my disabled mother and friend that help each other out. They do not qualify on their own income wise, but I have been supporting my mother with additional income to close the gap between her disability and expenses for 15 years. I understand the hesitation to rent to someone in this situation, but Anthony insisted before doing any due diligence that it was not going to work out. When I pressed him and told him I was willing to guarantee rent and provide financial information his response was that he doubts anyone’s financial information will be sufficient enough for him and it’s not going to work. He then accused me of trying to entrap him into admitting to not excepting disability income, which was not the case. However he did tell me he could consider it if I paid a year in full up front, which is actually illegal. I am a business owner and my sister who also helps my mother is a tenured teacher. My sister, mother, and I all have 800+ credit scores and have paid rent on time our entire lives. Again I understand the hesitation, but to do zero due diligence or even consider helping someone gain housing in a 55+ community is frankly disgusting. Anthony closed the call by mentioning that it is clear that we can’t find an apartment and that I sound “desperate” before hanging up the phone. He is correct that it has been a challenge relocating my mother from the less expensive area she lived in prior, but to call someone trying to help their family desperate is truly despicable. Anthony should not have a job and I can’t encourage anyone enough to avoid this listing and any other he is in charge of. If he treats prospective tenants this way I can only imagine how he runs this property for existing tenants."
