"If I could give Fairfield 0 stars I would. Its the worst rental company ever! They try to scam you anyway they can. Management is unresponsive. The billing office is the worst and often claims you owe money that you dont owe. Beware of this place at all costs! It is not worth the aggravation, money or trouble that comes along with leaving there. That's why they have an F rating on the BBB. Check out the issues there before signing a lease with them."

"Extremely unprofessional management company refused to return our security deposit of ~3K BUT told us we owe them $2.6K by claiming $5.5K "damages" on something that wasn't even under our name. We had our pre move-out inspection with everything checked in good condition. However no word on our security deposit after 1 month of move-out, even though our lease required them to return within 14 days. After enquiring multiple places, they said now we owe them because of "Replace Vinyl - Urine damage" of $5.4K with no proof of anything, where we didn’t even have Vinyl flooring! And the invoice they emailed has a different person's name with a different forwarding address (hence we never received it), a different move-out date. This company is very irresponsive. They either made lots of errors internally or worse they're making up excuses to get more money from you. Be aware!"

"Received lease documents to sign & noticed I was being charged rent for the 1st month despite the free month special I was offered. Lease docs had to get fixed. Then, I realized the docs stated I would not have to pay rent until 2 months later. I asked for docs to be fixed. The director told my lease agent he refuses to "fix the language" of the docs. Anyone else would have taken advantage of such a poorly written lease & refused to pay rent. I just wanted Fairfield to appropriately state what was expected for rent. I was told my 2nd month would be prorated verbally & the director refused to state that in the lease. Seems awfully shady to me. Russel, my agent, was disrespectful when I asked for the documents to be fixed. He accused me of asking him to hold the apartment for 3 weeks. I showed proof of a conversation where I said to release the apartment 1 week later after being approved. He also said he never has dealt with a person like me. I don't understand why I was degraded for requesting that legal documents are appropriately written? What a joke. He apologized. However, his behavior and the director for refusing to fix the lease documents left a bad taste in my mouth. It's no wonder people tend to leave terrible reviews for Fairfield properties/management. Yes this place is a beauty, but not worth the drama I was already dealing with. Save your time and look elsewhere. If you refuse to take my advice, my best suggestion is thoroughly review your lease documents."

"If I could give a zero I would. Bozzuto management was amazing, all staff were helpful and friendly, the maintenance crew dressed professionally and were always willing to help. They were constantly picking up garbage and went to the extent of picking up sticks in the parking lot just to keep up with the luxury aspect of the apartments appeal. Fairfield took over and it’s the opposite, the maintenance staff do not look professional, they care nothing about keeping the property clean and presentable, we get threatened in emails as a community, threats of more fees and we were told “renovations” are being done. What is Fairfield renovating? This place is new! They have a history of raising rent after “renovations”, but turns out they do very little updating and maintenance of their properties. I specifically told the office when signing our lease “I’m so happy this isn’t a Fairfield property, I’m willing to pay the extra money just for good management. I’ll never live in another Fairfield community again.” This is the second community I’ve lived in that had been taken over and I will NOT be renewing my lease. We pay $3535 just for rent, parking and valet trash. Meanwhile I walk out my door and see boxes, plastic bags and other items from peoples trash they put out the night before on our patio and in the courtyard. Stay away from this place, as usual, Fairfield is running it into the ground. I’ll come back to update when the new lease is given to us so I can warn you of how much they raised the rent. Fairfield just went through a case with many people receiving money for their stolen security deposits, so let’s see if they learned their lesson. Ours was $3450, I plan on leaving here with every cent and to document the walkthrough with video recording and email. Fairfield is making it impossible to rent on Long Island because they have their scummy hands on everything. I don’t even trust maintenance to come in to our apartment without anyone home due to historically having things go missing from another Fairfield property I lived in years ago. Please listen to the current reviews, we are real people with real experiences here."

"I’ve been living here for a year. It's a brand new Beautiful community in Long Island, NY with very friendly and helpful management. Nice play area and swimming pool. High tech gym and gorgeous clubhouse. Apartments are so spacious and have highly advance architecture. Love my apartment and the community."
