"I brought my LG 55 inch TV for repair over a year ago. After $250 in repair costs and only six months after I picked up the TV, I experienced the same problem (TV Switching Inputs and volume automatically). I brought the TV back in and he said to leave it and he would check it out. After three weeks, he said he tested it and nothing was wrong with the TV. He told me to remove all my remote controls from the room to see if it would work.....well that didn't work. I put the TV in another room recently and still, the same problem. Not happy about spending $250 for only 6 months of a working TV. My advice: Get a valid receipt for service...he writes receipts on random pieces of paper - which may not help in the event you want to take him to small claims court."

"I came in to ask about simple and easy repair, basically to get the cost to replace a blown circuit. The response I received was essentially that it would cost me $20.00 just to get an estimate. I explained to the guy that I was just driving by, saw them, and stopped in. All I asked or was an approximate price to change a small blown circuit. He said I need to go home and bring him the TV so he could check it out, again which would cost $20.00. I told him that I already know what the problem is, and it's just one circuit that needs to be replaced. He refused to give me a price until I brought him the TV so that he could charge me $20.00 first and then tell me how much it would cost. The guy looked at me like I had two heads and made it seem as if he has no idea what I am even talking about. (A VERY common problem with Samsung LED and LCD TV's.) I'm sure there is a standard price to replace just 1 small circuit. I turned around and walked out. Called a different place and received a price over the phone right away."
