"They did a fantastic job after scheduling and work failed for both AJ Perri and Gold Medal Plumbing. They prioritized the work, given their was no heat in the apartment. They didn't complain or reject the service because a washing machine had to be moved or because I couldn't reserve parking in front of the building, like AJ Perri and Gold Medal Plumbing had. They had everything fixed quickly. Thanks again!"

"Howard and his team are professional, timely, and do quality work. We were so grateful for their service after a series of terrible experiences with other HVAC companies like AJ Peri and Home Depot install services. We first hired Kook and don in 2021 to install a brand new split system in our historic brownstone. At that point we'd had at least 4 other companies come tell us the job just couldn't be done because of the layout of our home. Howard came in and had a solid plan for install within 2 site visits. He was able to execute the work with his team within a month. Since the install, we've hired Kook and Son for annual maintenance and to troubleshoot issues as they arise with our HVAC systems. They are always super prompt and resolve most issues within the day. They also recently did an emergency replacement of our hot water heater and had the new unit delivered and installed within 4 hours of my service call. It was epic. I would recommend these folks to anyone and we will continue to hire them for all our HVAC and plumbing needs."

"We had utilized Kook and Sons Services before we purchased our home in 2005. I remember we were immediately impressed that the quality of work was above that of any of the plumbers we had previously experienced. After purchasing the home we did use a few different plumbers because the quotes from Kook were slightly higher. We learned our lesson very quickly. Just like anything of value, service comes at a cost. Kook & Sons have proven to be worth every dollar. The cost is for reliability, dependability, service, maintenance, the quality of the work, and professionalism. We converted to gas from oil and Howard and his team guided us through every step. He gave us several options but the final solution has been maintained and properly functioning for over fifteen years. Kook & Sons does a yearly check up before winter performing general maintenance on the heating system, which subsequently has never failed. "This ‘plumbing company’ was listed on the Navien website as a service provider. I scheduled them to do an annual service my tankless water heaters. The tech called to work with my schedule since I told the receptionist I would be in and out all day. I moved another appointment to help them out, and confirmed a 1pm arrival. At 12:54, the tech called to he was leaving Jersey City and would be headed my way (I’m in Newark). One hour later, they still hadn’t arrived. I called the office to find out what was going on, and now supposedly the tech had an ‘emergency’ and wouldn’t be at my house for another hour. I refuse to give my money to businesses that don’t respect my time and have poor communication; I can’t be held hostage in my house hoping they come. Beware!"

"I am very dissatisfied with this service. I am a manager for a Dr's Office and had called this company for services. My first experience I left a message and nobody got back to me. Second time I called again and left a message, I received a response within 48 hours and booked an appointment. The plumber did not show up on the appointment date. He came the following week without notice. The issue was the toilet was not flushing, he changed the flusher free of charge which did not need to be changed. He then left and didn't come back. The toilet then overflowed the following day. I called again and made another appointment being nothing was resolved. Nobody showed up for the appointment so I called to see what happened they explained they were delayed and could be here an hour after my call. I had explained when making the appointment that we see patients in the office and the time frame was from 9-2 for the plumber to come, nobody called to say they were running late. Very inconsiderate of peoples time and no communication what so ever. I would not recommend this company to anybody."
