"I chose this Wander property to celebrate my wife's birthday, planning an entire long weekend filled with activities that required two vehicles, given the Tesla available for booking at the home. However, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find the outdoor areas unkempt, with garbage around the fire pit and leftover construction equipment scattered in the woods. Despite this setback, we took matters into our own hands and cleaned up, determined to enjoy the outdoors. To add to the challenges, I received a text during the trip informing me that the booked car had been in an accident and was unavailable. Although the company offered to cover a rental, my tight schedule made it impractical. I suggested an alternative to the concierge – providing a ride for my wife on her spa day while I adjusted the rest of our plans to accommodate a single vehicle. Surprisingly, their response was a mere $300 refund and a suggestion to book my own rides. While cleaning up outside, unannounced guests arrived to take the car, causing a moment of unease. Upon entering the home, we were met with a strong smoke smell, a result of the previous guest mishandling the wood stove. Despite reporting the issue to the concierge, the initial solution only involved opening windows and spraying deodorizer. The smell persisted, leading to an uncomfortable night downstairs and the realization that the problem was deeply ingrained in fabrics and walls. An attempt to rectify the situation by suggesting the use of an ozone machine proved futile. We returned to a cold home with all windows open, impacting our planned family dinner. The radiant heat indicated a lengthy wait to bring the temperature back to a comfortable level. The next day, unexpected maintenance personnel arrived without notice, raising concerns about privacy and security in a secluded home. After sharing our experience with the president of customer service and providing evidence, promises of a refund and credits were made. Unfortunately, these commitments were not honored, and my original complaint was mysteriously taken down. It's disheartening that a company with upscale properties and high prices fails to address customer issues appropriately. Exercise caution before investing a substantial amount in these homes, as this company falls short when it comes to making things right."

"It's my family's third stay at Wander Hudson Valley and... It did not disappoint. Clean and cozy. Beautiful views from every room. There's even a gym, that my grandson utilized. The grounds outside the house were also well maintained. It's the perfect getaway for family & friends."

"Unbelievable experience. Stayed here to celebrate my 30th birthday and it did not disappoint. I took off from work but almost wish I hadn’t to take advantage of the beautiful workstations. Gym was perfect for a short stay and the Tesla was quite the cherry on top. The pool and hot tub were a hit as well. Along with the grill and all the outdoor furniture, there was plenty of room to entertain guests. Make sure to take advantage of the kitchen. We cooked a couple nights and were super impressed with how stocked the kitchen was. That being said, we went out for dinner in Woodstock (Cucina - highly recommend!) and it was an easy drive. Definitely coming back, well done Wander!"

"From the moment you drive up to the property you feel the peaceful atmosphere. Every small detail has been thought out in this house from the Wander personal products, slippers, robes and oversized plush towels to the warmth of the heated beds. Such a treat!!! The temperature had changed here in New York so I lit up the wood burning stove which made the crisp September nights pleasant. Sitting on the outdoor deck, sipping a glass of local wine while listening to the Sonos which is throughout the house, proved to be just what I needed. The next morning was nothing but spectacular as I was having my morning coffee overlooking the Catskills mountains and hearing the creek below, a Bald Eagle flew in circles above me to my amazement!!! One of the best experiences I have ever had!!!"

"My family and I visited for the first time and absolutely fell in love with the home and views. They have thought of everything, I have nothing negative to write, only wish we’d stayed longer. The accommodations are central to a lot of places in the Catskills including Woodstock. The home was clean airy well stocked and safe. Driving the Tesla along the windy roads past towering trees was the cherry on top. We also have a nearly two year old and all of the wander homes we’ve stayed in come with cribs big bonus for us and those with small children. Be prepared to fall in love."
