"Whatever you do, don’t let the lady with brown / light golden brown dyed hair & tattooed eyebrows do your nails ! She wasn’t wearing a name tag so I don’t know her name ! She’s very rude & unprofessional! She talks to you in a condescending way, ignores certain requests while doing your nails & just doesn’t listen ! She makes snarky comments while doing your nails, & if you request something, she gets passive aggressive while doing the nails like tapping your hands for you to change it under the light instead of telling you switch it, she ignores requests & was handling my nails very roughly, almost like she was doing my nails so angrily ! If I didn’t have to go out right after, I would’ve asked someone else to finish my nails half way, that’s how rude and annoying she was ! She gave me such a hard time & all I wanted was glitter gel nails ! She made it seem impossible to do, when all she had to was put a base color first, then the matching glitter polish ! I showed her the nail I wanted based on the display nails ! When I asked for it, she put the Glitter alone and said “see no good, your nails showing underneath” and kept trying to convince me to do pink nails ! I had to tell her it is possible, to do it like the nail on the display sample, to put a base color & then the matching glitter polish ! It took another tech to show her how to do it ! Then she was being rude about actually doing it & even before starting she told me to pay first / saying you can’t change after ! I kindly told her, I’ll pay when I’m done because I’m not going anywhere ! She had her headphones in and kept complaining in her language & kept laughing! She was clearly talking about me ! She also cut my nails without asking if I wanted them cut ! She just started cutting them and very impatient and rushedddd through my nails !!! The lady next to me was almost done with her pedicure when the same nail tech was doing my nails & then went to do her nails, by the time she started my nails, not even 10 mns and she was done and the lady next to me was still getting her nails done & we both did gel polish ! If I go back to that nail salon, I’d rather wait for another nail tech or go to another salon if other techs are busy !"

"Horrible customer service. They don’t do nails well enough to have employees with attitudes. Ppl mostly use this nail spot out of convenience. Every time I’m in here someone in complaining. And they are very rude. The woman who sits in the first chair in the front and the man who I assumed was at one point the manager, August, are both rude. She told me she was “trying to be nice to me” once she added an acrylic tip when I told her I didn’t want any. August did nothing but laugh nervously and she refused to do my nails. Didn’t get her name but this isn’t the first, second, or third negative experience I’ve had here. 1/10. Wouldn’t recommend."

"I went there on Tuesday after a 3 month hiatus ( I stopped because their gel polish chipped after a day ) . I only returned because of a time constraint and because they are one of the cleaner nail salons in the Canarsie area . Outside of that they are mediocre! Their “best” technician August is arrogant and rude . He doesn’t even have the skill set to behave in this manner . He is ROUGH, rushes to finish quickly and is very sloppy . See photos below ! I went in for a fill in and cut down ; acrylic with gel polish . First of all he didn’t clean my cuticles. He went straight for the powered buffer and grounded my nails until the burned . When I told him , he responded say it’s on low and almost finished . Too much pressure applied!!! My pinky nail continued to burn when gel was apply which I found unusual but was ignored when I complained. He did two designs (as per him) and charged me $15 extra for it . $ 50 total . Lol Before I could thoroughly examine my nails he was brushing the dust off the table unto me and scurried off to the next client . A closer look at my nails revealed unevenness and several cuts to my skin which I brought to his attention and all he did was spray alcohol on one of them smh ! I was bleeding and before leaving a asked for something to absorb the blood- I got a piece of cotton instead of a bandaid . Almost 3 days later my finger is swollen and sore which prompted this review and I’m considering legal action . I have no problem paying high price for well done nails ( see photo of nails in white that I went in with) but this is poor technique and generally bad service which unfortunately is the norm in our communities. To make matters worst he didn’t even say thank you for the undeserved $5 tip !!! I’m not accepting language barrier as an excuse because he sang to music in English. I would not go back here and I do not recommend this place . I know there are not a lot of good options serving this black community but we need to advocate to be treated decently . Very disappointed! *Please note nails in white were not done at this place . Only used for comparison of quality and this was the foundation for which he did a fill-in ."

"They greeted me when I walked in which showed good customer service. I needed to be out at a certain time and the guy there started to take off a set of nails I already had on and then after the manager finished my nails. Right now they have 10% off for new comers I went Tuesday 5/4. I chose to do SNS which you can do with your natural nails or tips. The prices are decent. I payed $46 all together which was good for my budget saving with the discount. Take off is $6, SNS 39.99 & $5 for added tips. I added tips for mine to give a little more length. I believe after 4 or 5 trips there you get 20% off so make sure you get your card signed before leaving and tip them. I would go back and recommend their services to others."
