H&R Block

"I called a H&R Block in order to make an appointment to have my US taxes completed as I file both my US and Canadian taxes. I explained this to the woman on the phone whom I scheduled my appointment with. I showed up to my appointment after crossing the border to do so and drove an hour. Once I was there they told me they do not know why an appointment was booked at that location for my needs and there is only one location approximately 45 mins from the one I went to that offers the needed services. I rebooked at my initial appointment and was given a time and date at the “appropriate” location. I drove to this appointment and crossed the border again for it. On my way, after crossing the border and almost arriving, I received a phone call stating I missed my appointment since the woman scheduling booked and told me the incorrect time. They were not able to accommodate me again, although it was their error and they advertise “walk ins welcome”. Horrible experience, extremely inconvenient and inconsiderate of time and travel. No one seemed knowledgeable or helpful. I went to another company (EG Tax) while I was over the border that same day who promptly was able to accommodate and assist with all my needs right away. I would never recommend or consider H&R Block."

We were shocked that they would give clients to someone with such low competency with no supervision."
