"They have washers and dryers"

"There are NO SIGNS up telling you which machines are BROKEN. There are also NO SIGNS telling you which machines are the washers, and which machines are the dryers. That can be confusing because they have a couple different brands of machines that are unheard of to me, and the buttons do not have pictures to help understand the settings. Those things lead to confusion with the washers and the dryers. I understand the button thing is out of their control, but the signs directing which machines are which IS within their control. Worst of all, there is NO WAY TO PULL YOUR MONEY BACK OUT or change your setting if you make a mistake or forgot to put clothes or soap in one of the machines. The washers I initially used you can just open up the door and throw clothes in there, there is no lock. On the other washers I thought were dryers, they have a lock, so you CANNOT open up the door afterwards, which is normal for more modern machines, but when you CANNOT cancel a load in an urgent situation or if you mistake which machines are which, that is a huge issue itself, and a waste of money… In addition to that experience, they leave a sign up telling you that they are not responsible for electronics plugged into their outlets, which is understandable to a point, but then they have outlets like shown in the picture, that ARE their responsibility and are obviously UNSAFE. IN REPLY TO SHOEMAKER LAUNDROMAT RESPONSE: The owner obviously does not care about having signs up to direct people with intellectual disabilities or other issues. They also are not entirely truthful about the commercial machines because there is a way to drain the water to pull out clothes for whatever the case may be, I did not know that, so I had to look it up. A drain in the floor could help in the instance water gets all over too if the exact machines they have at this laundromat do not have a way to drain the water. Other reviewers have stated machines have been broken or malfunctioning but at least there is an apparent number posted to call if a machine has malfunctioned, but it does not mean someone will rush up to help someone in urgent need. It is possible the outlet may be disconnected, but it goes to show the potential risk of a fire if the outlet is still hooked up, no one knows the truth but the owners. Even if it is disconnected, it goes to show the laziness of the owner to keep the building looking nice, as like other reviews say, the building is not well up kept. It is obvious the owner wants the least liability possible, even when making sure electrical outlets are safe, even if the owners are not necessarily responsible for electronics plugged into them. All of these negatives are unfortunate for a convenient laundromat like this one."

"Clothes came out of the washer sopping wet, quarters wouldn't work in the machines. No paper or soap in the bathroom. It's extremely cramped in there. Clothes don't get clean. Too bad because it's the only one in town."

"Pretty average laundromat from what I can tell. We came to do a couple of loads of laundry. One thing the owner should look at is the middle dryer on the bottom row. This would be the white bank of dryers, not the almond ones. We had a couple of shirts catch along the edge. Luckily my husband was watching when it first started and managed to get them out. W We moved to a different dryer and weren't able to get our coins back of course, so we were out the cost of that load of laundry. Overall though, the place was clean and there was a place to sit. We ended up walking down to the farmer's market that was going on nearby. Cute little town."

"Absolutely horrible. There is nothing enforcing the mask rule and all kids of people with no masks. (Wonder why there so much covid). People who won't let you use the dryers because they saving them for when their laundry done. (Even though they have 15 minutes yet on washer). Half the dryers don't work."
