"I only gave it one star because my daughter who rented this place for her wedding reception and her help decorated it so beautifully. If she didn't have a crew to help her clean up this space to decorate the reception might not have happened as it was totally discusting and barely usable. You have to rent the tables and benches for an additional cost. The tables were inside but the very heavy wood tree stump benches were not and men had to bring them in from outside. The previous event that was there left garbage items and more behind. We all had to remove these items. Not only that but clearly it hadn't been cleaned in a long time because there was mold everywhere and you can smell it when entering. The wedding party and family cleaned and tried to disinfect as best as possible with the time restraint we had along with removing garbage upon garbage. The ice machine the coolers sinks in the bar area where covered in wet and dried mold. Totally discusting. Totally unexceptable. If the bride didn't have help the reception couldn't have taken place there. Also there is no AC. It is a unique space that clearly is mis managed. I give the wedding party and family 5 stars for pulling it off and decorating so beautifully and zero stars to this place. They should be ashamed."

"I'm giving 2 stars because in the end, the space cleans up nice, is a decent price, and it did the job. After we put in a lot of work, it looked good. But the negatives are too big to ignore. I'll start with the positives. It cleans up nice, has a unique aesthetic, has a large bar area, tables/benches are available for rent, a nice blank slate so you have freedom to decorate as you please. Now for the negatives. We didn't expect to have to deep clean this space the evening before our wedding. We spent hours cleaning before it was able to be decorated. And I'm not talking just sweeping a floor. I'm talking we had to get rid of MOLD from surfaces, clean out coolers that had left behind soda spills, kill fruit flies by the hundreds, clean a moldy smelly ice machine, wipe out sinks filled with old sticky drinks, and pickup LOTS of garbage that must have been left from events before us. We also had to remove all the previous decor, random heaters, ladders, and even a traffic light... We also discovered there weren't enough tables and benches inside even though we rented them and paid for them. So we found them outside, around the corner. The problem was they were extremely heavy and in bad condition. Some of the benches were really unsafe to even sit on. Luckily we brought family to help because the two of us never would have been able to carry those benches inside. If something is rented, I would expect it to be inside and ready for use. We weren't told they would be outside under tarps filled with water. Another downfall that we weren't aware of until we already booked was that there is no central AC. On the tour we were assured that by the time our wedding date arrived it would be installed. When I asked about it later, they claimed they had no idea what I was talking about and they never had plans for AC. It was extremely hot in there. The weather was mid 80's outside but inside it was pretty unbearable, especially dancing around in a wedding dress. These are all things to keep that in mind before booking. If you're willing to put in a lot of elbow grease, deal with mold, and you don't have any heat sensitive guests, you might enjoy this place. I'd say only book in cooler months. And it definitely smells like mildew inside. I didn't mind that much but several people made comments on how musty it smelled. Overall, photos look really nice and it did the job but if I had known the condition would be so bad the night before our wedding, I would have gone with another location."
