"didn’t show up at all. not helpful either."

"Beware! I did some research to find a reliable and well reviewed handyman company to install an AC in my office and swap out two floodlights in my driveway and backyard. My initial call to schedule a same day appointment I was told the service can be done within an hour for $95/hr. I agreed to the service and within a few hours the handyman arrived. The handyman arrived at 12:23pm (my ring doorbell recorded his entry and exit) and he immediately tells me the job will cost $275 and he didn’t know why I was told otherwise. I apologized and told him that’s not what I agreed to and it was out of my budget. He then said ok “I’ll honor what price the lady told you on the phone”. He proceeds to do the AC installation and then moved on to the floodlights. All of this was completed at 1:13PM. He tells me it will be $160 even though the job was completed under an hour. He then turns on the electricity to check the lights and what worked fine the day before no longer worked.. my backyard lights were not working. He then said he will charge me $20 to check the switch. He opens it up, does nothing but turn the power on and off a few times and then tells me I need an electrician. Bills me the $160 and leaves. I am pregnant with high blood pressure and did not want to argue so I paid him to leave. I called the company and told them what happened. Initially they told me they would send someone else out to address the problem but instead had him call me. I called again and asked to speak with a manager 5 times, no one has called me since then. Now I’m stuck with lights that don’t work due to his installation of the floodlight and will need to pay even more for an actual professional company to come out here and fix whatever mess occurred during his installation. Beware!! I will be filing a complaint with BBB."

"Made an appointment for an estimate. I was told I’d be called 30 minutes before they arrived. I was never called and they never showed up. I called and the rep said the handyman was trying to call me. I had no calls and no problems with my phone. Unprofessional."
