Bennett Beach

"Bennett beach is an incredible resource for WNY families. It is 8,000% better and cleaner than Woodlawn and only a slight drive away it. Great, soft sand, clearer water, lifeguards, public bathroom + shower, etc. Lifeguards and park rangers are attentive and reasonable. We have become beach bums as soon as we discovered it, visiting at least once a weekend. The fact that it’s entirely free is incredible and makes it so easy to visit. You will NOT regret this, especially if you have kids. Tons of families, no hooligans, and tons of fun!"

"Lifeguards seem to pay attention, sand is nice and clean. Water is clean. No alcohol allowed. Today the water closed early at 5:30pm. Website said swimming starts at noon."

"Clean well maintained and fun. I Highly recommend. Plenty of parking, then a walk over and lovely creek. The park managers have put down a plastic pathway past the dunes all the way out to the beach which is really fun for an easy walk. Once you get there, it expands out to a very large beach with plenty of room for everyone."

"Rustic, clean, and well cared for by Eire County. Typical of the American shore of lake Erie, there is a lot stuff that washes up on the beach. Very quiet nature trails to get lost in. Pillowy white sand lines the wooded trails. Dogs are welcome. Free entry and parking. Bring a picnic. Restrooms are spotless."
