"Same as everyone here my final payment to my last creditor was 5 months ago and I’m still being drafted for no reason can’t get a straight answer out of their lying lips when they do answer. I’m about 30 seconds away from getting my own attorney and give a little piece of what I’ve been receiving from their service. Telling my bank that payments from them will be frozen and cease immediately. I’ve wasted too much time and $$$ to keep having this headache. SRAY AWAY YOU ARE BETTER OFF"

"I wish I could give ZERO stars, as that is what they actually need to get. I am settling my final debt this month and I can honestly state that dealing with Timberline was like making a deal with the Devil! From exuberant fees to incompetent lawyers that charge for services they never completed you will go through hell dealing with this company. Forget that you agreed to a monthly installment at the start of the program. You WILL be asked and pressured on EVERY settlement by Timberline to make additional drafts and pay more into the program as if you could afford it. Their personnel is aggressive on the phone and does NOT care anything about the financial situation that their customers are in. If you are foolish enough to deal with this Devil, prepare yourself for thousands of dollars in hidden fees. You will be better off negotiating your own payment plans with your creditors and saving yourself a LOT of money doing it yourself. My story going through this program is shocking and is proven by facts. DON'T make the same mistake I did because you are under pressure from your creditors, you CAN do this on your own!"

"If I only could leave zero stars, I would have. I have been in the program with Timberline for almost three years and I finally cancelled on September 27, 2023. My experience with them has been nothing but unpleasant. Be aware!!! They sweet talk you in every and which way to get you to sign in, and they neglect your accounts by letting the creditors sue you and then Timberline assigns your account with their in-house law firm, Amerilit. You only get to work with an inadequate paralegal, who supposedly has your best interest, but this system only reaps more money from you. I have called several times, asking Timberline to contact my creditors due to law suit threats and actually has gotten served twice and they completely neglected my calls and requests. Stating that they have a system. And the system is such. to allow you account to go into a lawsuit and have the Amerilit handle it by charging you even more money. I caught on to their lies and finally cancelled after 2.5 years. I was told I had $960 in my escrow amount upon cancellation on 9/27/2023. I requested a statement and a refund. I was told it will take 2-4 weeks to process. When nothing was emailed/sent, I called again on 10/23/2023 and was told that the refund was not processed because they didn't' know where to sent the refund but I should receive in within 7-10 business days. Nothing happened and no statement was emailed. I just called them again today and escalated to speak to a manager. The manager told me that there is no refund as the $960 was used to pay fees that I owed them. What fees? I have been paying 25% fees monthly to them since November 2020 and with a $777 monthly fee they have only settled 2 accounts. You can imagine my frustration and disgust with these crooks. Be very aware that they DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST. They are crooks."

"Complete RIP OFF! I'd give negative stars if I could. After all said and done I'm going to end up paying more than I would've not going through them. They tell you don't make your payments because it gives them more negotiating power. Of course this ruins your credit. Obviously I knew it would destroy my credit, but they assured me that once terms were worked out it wouldn't make that big of an impact. Then they call and say good news you qualify for a loan to cover the payments you are now making to them. Now the loan amount they say is "worst case scenario" and they keep working towards your settlement. But of course once they have their money they're you're dead to them. You try and call for answers "you've completed your program" with them any questions should now go to the lending company, Versara Lending. The leander they convince you is such a great option to go with. So you call them, and guess what, well you'll need to work that with Timberline. Normally I would've avoided anything like this but they caught me at a perfect desperate time."

"These hack jobs dragged their feet for so long that I am now being sued. I literally completed all of my payments to Timberline. They are sitting with my money not reaching out to the debt collector. Now I have to go out of my way to stay on top of this because they can't do their jobs. They told me not to talk to any debt collector and I didn't. If I would have, this would not be happening. Very unprofessional and they do not care about their "clients"."
