"This firm specializes in taking advantage of trusting people, who are just trying to responsibly prepare for the eventual scenarios of death, wills, trusts and estates. They took advantage of people close to me, and should not be allowed to do this to others. They should be ashamed of their business practices. To begin, over $350, (non-refundable of course,) must be paid to sit down for a consultation, (and does not apply to the final bill if you decide to utilize their services.) Understand that prior to this consultation, they obtain very detailed information from you about EVERY asset you have, down to make/model/year of vehicles, current amounts in accounts and investments, current evaluation of your home, SSN, birthdates of all parties including beneficiary's etc, and much more. This is only for the consultation, to find out about their services and fees. Next a check for over $5,800, (again must be paid prior to work begining,) with a disclosure that there may be additional fees for postage, filing costs, "unforseen costs," etc. This particular situation is not one of a multimillionaire or someone with businesses or multiple homes, etc. There is absolutely no reason for a person to be paying close to $6,500, (minimum,) to make sure their loved ones are taken care of in the end of life. Thankfully I was able to stop this, prior to the $5,800+ being paid. The firm that ended up being hired for this piece of business charged under $2,500. They also not only file with the state, but also have vaults on premises to keep the originals if you choose. Do yourself a favor, shop around before making this decision. Do not trust this firm."
