They have light and beautiful piano and cello music makes it so peaceful. It was so central to everything in the town which made travel easy! "My husband and I recently stayed two nights at Union Gables Inn, and it was one of the best trips we've taken over the last decade. This was our first time in Saratoga Springs, so we wanted to stay somewhere near to downtown, and we'd usually pick a hotel, but the great reviews sold us here - and I'm so glad they did! We didn't arrive til 10pm, so we were not checked in by the innkeepers, but they were super communicative and texted us our checkin info, no issues there. Our room was the Bruce room, on the third floor, and I was a little worried warm air would rise, but the air conditioning unit in the window kept things comfortable. It did run loudly, but it didn't disturb our sleep - but may be something to consider if you're sensitive to white noise. Breakfast was delicious, and they were able to easily adjust the items listed on the menu - having a menu with several selections was a nice bonus, as I've only experienced b&bs with one food option before! We got to talk with both the husband and wife who run the b&b as we ate, and they were so pleasant and friendly, you can tell their hearts are 100% in what they do. The pool is a quiet, heated retreat and makes you forget you're only a few blocks away from a busy downtown district. Parking is easy in the lot behind the building, and while we were there before the racing season began (so the b&b was not at full capacity), there appeared to be plenty of spots so that wouldn't be an issue. The only suggestion I have is that there was not a full-length mirror in our room - there is one near the front door, but I do appreciate having one in the room. We are already eagerly awaiting our return to such a calming, well-cared-for inn!"

"We had a wonderful experience at this B and B. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming to us and our pup. We stayed in the dog friendly room that faces the front of the inn. The fireplace made the room very cozy, and the balcony was a great place to enjoy some sunshine with a cup of coffee. The breakfasts were delicious and served in a beautiful space on the first floor. The pool table, decks of cards and board games would have been put to good use if we had not had such nice weather. As it was clear and sunny, we were able to explore Congress Park and local neighborhoods on foot. We will definitely be back."
