"We always travel with our cats. They accepted us while nowhere else did but I’m glad they didn’t because we found Woodstock Way Hotel and we couldn’t have a better experience. Our cabin was so cute and cosy. All the staff were very friendly and they loved our kitties."

"Word of caution: Do NOT rent one of the River Residences. I booked what promised to be a wonderful off-site loft with spectacular river views. However I essentially lost a day from my hotel experience because typical issues that arise when staying at a hotel (key access isn't working) aren't addressed in timely fashion. I booked the three-bedroom loft combo, which consists of a studio suite with kitchenette and bathroom and a two-bedroom in one building. The two suites are side-by-side, with different keypad access for each. The studio suite keypad didn't consistently work for 24 hours. I'm still waiting for the management company that the hotel contracts to take care of the properties to arrive (it's my second night here). In addition, the jacuzzi for the property wouldn't heat up. My work retreat was completely ruined. And I didn't get an offer to comp one of the rooms for the booking (I'm here for 3 nights), just apologies for the lack of responsiveness (I called the main hotel and the management company 10 times and only got a response once I sent a strongly worded email expressing my displeasure). I was told that it was a busy day at the hotel and they missed all of my messages. It's a shame because the River Residences are beautiful and the setting is bucolic. It's clear that when things are working swimmingly it can be an amazing experience; I can see the guests across the road enjoying the hot tub and it looks incredible. But if you have any problems, it can be a waste of time and money. Perhaps staying at the hotel proper is better but after this stay I'm not sure I want to find out. UPDATE: Thank you for reaching out and following up personally on my issues. I'm looking forward to giving the hotel another chance soon!"

"We were 4 adult women and stayed in The Cape. It was an entire private house, 3 bedrooms (4 beds), 3 baths and 3-car driveway. The record player, board games and electric fireplace were a nice touch. The decor was unique and special. Beds were comfortable. The only thing we would recommend is to add better lighting in the upstairs bathroom but otherwise we loved it! The property is right off the main street but feels quiet and private. The complimentary morning coffee/waterfall/firepits were delightful. Recs for yoga and spa were perfect as well. Highly recommend."

"We had booked one of the River Houses for us as a family in September 2023. The house is in a great location and very well equipped. Wonderful beds! The arrangement and communication with the hotel (the River Houses are near Saugerties) went smoothly via email and we were able to check in contactless. We had a great stay!"

"We didn’t stay at the hotel, but got lattes from their coffee shop. It’s really a wonderful spot! It’s just off the Main Street but feels private and tucked away. The barista gave us permission to enjoy our drinks in front of the little water fall (the lounge/patio area outside is understandably for their hotel guests) and we were very grateful for it. The drinks were great, the service was great, and the coffee shop and buildings were beautiful. Would definitely stay here ourselves next time and suggest it to friends."
