"This property has gone through phases over the last eight years, all trending down. This property is tired and not much is being done about it. Luck of the draw if you get a well kept room. They removed the EV charging stations. The breakfast is just sad, sad, sad. All of the accoutrements for hot cereal but no hot cereal. All week it has been just scrambled eggs and prepackaged breakfast sandwiches that you have to heat up on your own. Only had a meat protein one day out of five. Plastic utensils and just a handful of paper plates. Coffee has been cold every morning. The sad part is that the military still uses this property for some of our service men and women and this is the “spread” that they are provided? The upside? If you get one of the better rooms then you’ll find a comfy mattress, hot water and a welcoming feel. The area is quiet. Close to the highway and a Dunkin Donuts. This property has had great managers and staff over the years. Right now is not that time and it shows. Maybe they are short staffed and that is the issue? Don’t know. For the prices they charge for a room you may find a better experience elsewhere. At least until they turn things around here."
"My recent stay was a delightful experience, offering exceptional value for money. The hotel’s rooms are impressively spacious, and the inclusion of a fireplace in each room adds a touch of warmth and luxury that is hard to find elsewhere. Upon encountering an issue with the internet in my initial room, I was pleased with the swift and efficient response from the hotel staff. A quick call to the reception was all it took to be moved to another room where the internet connectivity was impeccable. The combination of attentive service, generous room amenities, and the cozy ambiance provided by the fireplace makes it a recommendable choice for both business and leisure travelers. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is evident, and I would not hesitate to book another stay here the next time I’m in town. "Place feels just like home, can catch good prices often. They have a wonderful staff and a fantastic breakfast. I'm sure I'll be returning whenever I find a reason. Breakfast makes the difference when making your choice of where to stay in my world."
"The village style look was quite nice, the room we were assigned was impressively spacious (Can't speak for other rooms) but there were aspects that were sadly dated. The bathtub/shower fixtures were such that water loss was evident. Several issues with toilet flushing backup. The breakfast was good not great. The check-in process was very lengthy and not sure why. This is still a nice property, but just needs some additional TLC."
"Above-average stay. I was only here 11 nights for work, and the only complaint is that my company didn't send the correct credit card authorization. Still, they got me into my room early in the day. The rooms are spacious, with fireplaces, though the bathrooms are small. Beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean, as were the essentials. Only little things came up. The property is a former apartment: 2 floors, no elevators, noise from above on the first floor, and a lot of guests leave trash/linens in the breezeways for disposal (though it was always taken care of during the same day.) Never got a call when a package arrived, never got a fresh bar of hand soap. That kind of stuff. It was beautifully quiet until the last night. Then we had VERY loud phone conversations outside my windows and people stomping around upstairs. Still, very good overall. I'd go back."
