La Siesta Motel

"My rating is based on years ago when it was actually a motel. I went there a couple months ago to rent a room and I was told that it was only for people that deal with DSS. They should really put some kind of sign up for people who don't know that."

"not a good to stay. when we went into.the room there was crud on the desk and tv stand. nothing was washed down. your not aloud to plug in a toaster or anything eles to cook with.. the fridge freezes everything.. just a very Drity place.. its also expensive to stay and you have to clean the room your self.. NOT WORTH IT"

"Great for the price. Owner was a great help. I do not understand some of these negative reviews, specially from people that got free rooms from the county. County clients are getting FREE rooms. Everyone has what you need for basic stay. I paid less then any hotel in the area. Great service thank you"

"Came down for fishing season and I gotta say this isn't the nicest place, but the rate is perfect for what it was. I had a good time fishing and didn't have to pay an arm and a leg just to stay for a couple of nights. Overall good experience."

"This is the worst buisness i have ever seen, lived there for a bit when i was hard up and it was disqusting, i wouldent dreccomend it to anyone, over the time i was there, many sex offenders and criminals worked and lived there while paying for it with wefare, the owner is very rude and un-clean and when you call him out on something he swears at you and calls you names and tells you to get off the property, at one point when i lived there there were bedbugs in our room, and the heat stopped working in the middle of a very cold winter too, i can not think of a worse place on earth, it was basically hell which costs money to be in, this is about the most honest i could possibly be, if you are traveling through mexico ny avoid it at all costs travel the exta few miles to pulaski or parish to get a better place, you may pay more but it would still be better than sleeping in a nasty old dirty tiny room with very old beds a half working bathroom with leaks and some of the worse customer service i have ever encountered. They should be inspected and shut down, which obviously has not happened yet because if it did they would already be shut down, just a warning to anyone who might encounter it. if i could give it no or negative stars i definetly would."
