"Room was clean and comfortable. The only negatives are the bathroom does not have a fan and the beds offered zero support. Probably the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. That being said, I need a firm mattress due to neck and back issues. Aside from those two things it was pretty nice."

"Very nice. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was a fairly late check-in (10pm) and the staff called to ensure I was ok because I hadn’t arrived yet. She was very gracious with directions and suggestions and just the right amount of friendly and welcoming. This is a good choice for a longer trip or a family, my room was an efficiency accommodation. A nice place if you do not prefer the “chain experience”."

"This is a beautiful property and the staff are friendly and courteous. We have stayed here before and the rooms are clean easily accessible. Upon arrival this time we were notified that they had a "full house" and we were being bumped to another room. We had no idea how much more this room would be until we opened the door and found an entire apartment. This was in no way a loss on our part. We will definitely request this type again as it made our stay so much more relaxed and enjoyable. Every day the front desk woman would ask if we needed anything - so sweet. In our haste to leave early for our long journey home we forgo to leave something for the cleaning staff. We immediately dropped something in the mail. We received a wonderful thank you note and can't say enough about this place. PLUS the views are amazing from anywhere on the property. Highly Recommend !! Kudos to the owner and staff."

"This is the perfect lodging for the Hunter/ Fisherman or woman. I had a clean and comfortable efficiency, and the rates were very reasonable . What a beautiful location right on the St. Lawrence River. Massena is about a 10 minute drive for groceries, fuel and other supplies. Check out Morley’s American Grill in Town. Great Burgers and beer selection, and the price was very reasonable. Thanks Lakeview for a great stay. BTW, the fishing in this area is amazing. Three days of catching until my arms were sore. I’ll be back ."
