"Really very good. Hole in the Wall offers unique donut combination with various different kinds of bases which sets them a apart from other specialty donut places in the Hudson Valley. Prices are in line with what you'd expect from a similar establishment, the donut shop interior is clean and has comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and quick. Bathrooms were clean too. The 2 tiniest little reasons holding back a 5 star review are location and freshness. First, I think Hole in the Wall would be packed on weekends if they were in a better location. Even though it's near the heart of Kingston, it's not quite within walking distance from one thing or another. If placed in Rhinebeck or Beacon, Hole in the Wall would be filled to the brim with people. It's also not super helpful that parking is somewhat limited in that area. Second, and this is a personal preference I know, I'd love to have the option of a warm & freshly made donut. Baked donuts are obviously tricky because they take time to make and can't be made to order, but if it's possible to freshly make a donut to order then I'd be ecstatic. To be clear, none of the 9 donuts my party tried were anywhere close to stale, but there's definitely a case for made to order donuts handed to you warm & tasty. I would definitely go back to Hole in the Wall again and will be recommending it to all of my friends looking for a high quality donut shop. Y'all gotta rev up your marketing though because you do have a good product, now you just have to get the word out more!"
